The violence in the holiday sale is unseeable. The comforts and conveniences are a force field that scrambles our reception of the holy days. The design flaw in the beautiful machine of America is extinction, and we activists haven’t figured out how to dis-encrypt the message of the Earth that blows through us like hopeless love, like the last howling high notes of the animals that are entering death. There is no time to be anything but radical. ----
