Gaia theory says that the Earth is a conscious living being. Many people sense that this is true, but we think of her thoughts as impossible for us to understand. We think of nature’s intelligence as not of the logical or strategic sort. But why? It seems as if the bio-sphere of the planet is more involved in the elections than the Russians. The unprecedented pandemic and storms and fires – all derided by Trump’s tweets – are triggering responses in Americans on a basic common sense level. Don’t mess with Mother Nature. ----
